Strong candidates should demonstrate an entrepreneurial approach to this sales opportunity. You must be highly organized and detail-oriented with unique problem-solving skills and a strong capacity for creative thinking. In addition, it is important that you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to easily establish rapport and credibility with a wide range of potential customers.

Essential position Functions:

· Customer satisfaction and retention of school accounts

· Prospecting and growing market share in your territory

· Daily travel to schools, both customers and prospects

· Acquiring technical skills and gaining program/product knowledge

· Training customers on Balfour technology and tools

· Managing existing accounts at various stages of production consistent with the deadline schedule

· Discover customer needs for yearbooks and related products relevant to customer needs

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

· Bachelor’s degree, preferable in Journalism or Education

· Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills

· Ability to sell to new and prospective customers

· Excellent computer literacy skills and proficiency in designing software

· Willingness to travel and work independently, a self-starter

· Training, teaching, and/or coaching experience preferred

· Prior sales and service experience a plus

· It is also important that you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to easily establish rapport and credibility with a wide range of potential customers.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Will supervise others
